Wicked has been overwhelmingly popular with the public since its opening in 2006, breaking box office records not just in the UK but also worldwide and winning many awards for its spectacle and heart, especially when voted for by audiences. The musical’s commerical and popular success is indisputable, but what did the critics’ make of its unique twist on the classic tale of Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz?     We saw Wicked at the London Apollo Theatre on Saturday 17th May for the matinee performance. I would recommend anyone to go and see it. The singers were amazing and so was the staging. A totally magnificent cast and thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Outstanding!! What a show. I went on 11january and the lady playing elsebeth, the green witch was outstanding. What a performance. Beautiful story, perfect acting, amazing scenes and props, not a fault anywhere. I will be visiting again.
